Aşk ve Gözyaşı (Queen of Tears) is a Turkish series produced by O3 Medya. This series is the screens on Kanal D with it’s first episode on September 18, 2025. This series is helmed by directors Engin Erden and penned by prominent writers Dilara Pamuk.


Last Episode Summary 

For Selim, who has been adamant about getting a divorce, hearing that Meyra only has three months to live is a devastating turning point.  The fact that the woman he once loved is dying makes him rethink his choice, even though he no longer thinks this marriage can endure.  At a time when they are no longer close, this news puts Selim in a difficult situation.  But Meyra makes a concerted effort to remain calm in the face of this news.  She chooses to suppress her emotions and hide her illness from her family and others around her, even though she is going through internal turmoil.  But this process is made even more exhausting and isolating by years of conflict with her family, particularly with her mother.

As time runs out, Meyra confronts her deep-seated fear of being alone, while Selim begins to question the very meaning of staying. As the two try to exist in the same house, but with different emotions, in a mutual silence, a surprise visitor from the past shakes the balance once again. The couple, who are struggling under the pressure of Meyra's time shortage and Selim's feeling trapped, will experience new confrontations in the face of this surprise visitor from the past and unexpected events.


Plot and Storyline

Meyra, the future heir of Aksel Group, is married to Selim, the legal director of the company.  Meyra conceals her vulnerability and loneliness behind her tough exterior while he bears the burden of familial pressure and power struggles.  Selim thinks about leaving as their emotional distance increases, but he changes his mind after learning of Meyra's serious illness.  They are forced to face their long-suppressed realities and rediscover the love they believed was gone as a result of this revelation.  However, their journey turns into the ultimate test of love, honesty, and the decision to support one another under the shadow of illness, family expectations, corporate rivalries, and hidden secrets.
