Plot and Storyline

The series is based on the same-titled novel by Nahid Sırrı Örik, which will depict a deep tale of sibling rivalry. 

The gripping story of a woman who has finally had enough is told in Kıskanmak.  Left behind by her status-obsessed mother and continuously eclipsed by her intelligent and endearing brother Halit, Seniha lived her entire life on the periphery of her own family.  Seniha who lives like a servant in the mansion, has developed into an elderly spinster where she was born, while he rises to prominence as one of the nation's most prosperous lawyers and benefits from all that their wealth provides.

The series provides a window into Seniha's inner world, as she was deprived of a mother's love and lost her childhood in the shadow of family power struggles. It narrates how, in her quest to reclaim the life that was stolen from her and exact revenge on those who caused her pain, she not only alters her own fate but also radically changes the course of the entire family's existence.
