Kurulus Orhan Episode 1 English Subtitles

Kurulus Orhan is a turkish series produced and written by Mehmet Bozdağ, directed by Bülent İşbilen and starring Mert Yazıcıoğlu as Orhan Bey, Kuruluş Orhan will leave its mark on Wednesday evenings on ATV. 

Storyline

The life of Orhan, son of Osman I and the second ruler of the Ottoman Empire the man who turned a small frontier Turkmen principality into a vast empire that spread into Europe and ruled over much of the world for centuries is the subject of this epic historical series, which is set at the start of the 14th century.

In order to realise Osman Bey's dream, Orhan Bey has been besieging Bursa for nine years.  But Bursa is defended like a steel fortress by his invincible commander Flavius and his formidable Tekfur Saroz.  Orhan Bey acts to open Bursa's gates in spite of all the obstacles.

 All of the beys in the camp are called to a ball by Osman Bey, who declares that Bursa's fate will be sealed if they are chosen to be drawn from the next ball.  It's a big test for Orhan Bey.  The beys announce that they plan to continue the siege under a new leader.  Şahinşah Bey offers to accept the role.  Nilüfer Hatun, who provides Orhan with strength through her love, becomes his respite amidst the chaos, along with her kids.
