The series is produced by Medyapım. Murat Öztürk is the director, while the screenplay is written by Berna Aruz. Aruz previously directed the long-running and successful crime story 'Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz'.

Yeraltı doesn't claim to be a series about constant gunfire and individual mafia feuds. Instead, the production focuses on barons, cartels, the narcotics system, and its global connections. With a narrative style similar to Narcos, the series aims to raise awareness rather than disturb viewers with bloody imagery.

In this respect, Yeraltı is considered by the production team as a "new age (new generation) Kurtlar Vadisi" with less bloodshed but more focus on the system. ACTORS AND CHARACTERS

Deniz Can Aktaş plays the lead role of 'Haydar Ali' in the series. Devrim Özkan portrays 'Ceylan', the emotional and dramatic central figure of the story. Uraz Kaygılaroğlu appears as 'Bozo', one of the key figures of the 'Yeraltı.
