Cirkin Episode 1 English Subtitles

After losing her entire family, Meryem moves in with a very close friend of her late mother in village known as Cennet.  Merytem continues living her life in the village where she has gained the nickname “Çirkin” (Ugly).

In Meryrem’s world in the village, she has always admired Cennet’s son Kadir who left home at a very young age; suddenly returns to the village with an unexpected marriage proposal changing her life in a instant.

Cennet who is very oppressive and has very strict rules reacts extremely harshly to Kadir’s proposal, taking her anger out not only on him, but Meryem gets her share as well.

On the other hand, Kadir who has been in charge of the business of Ökkeş Karataş whom he also sees as a father, while at the same time he must continue his life without harming his relationship with his daughter Lale.

So what is the real reason behind Kadir’s marriage proposal?  Does this all mean that Meryem who thinks that she will be living the best days of her life actually find herself in the middle of a game?  How will this effect the relationship between Lale and Kadir?
