Uzak Sehir

Uzak Şehir (For City) is a Turkish series, produced by AyNa Production for Kanal D, returns with its second season on September 15, 2025, following an intense first season that left viewers captivated. Shooting began in mid-August, and the series promises to continue the gripping story of Alya Albora.

Alya found herself trapped in a fierce struggle with the powerful Albora family, after arriving in Mardin from Canada with her late husband’s body and their young son. The head of the tribe, Cihan Albora, refuses to let her take her child, pushing Alya into a battle against secrets, traditions, and the darkness of the past.

The series is directed by Ahmet Katıksız, Emre Aybek, and Yıldız Aşanboğa Taşbaşı and Produced by AyNa Production with the script written by Gulizar Irmak. The main cast includes Ozan Akbaba, Sinem Ünsal, Gonca Cilasun, Müfit Kayacan, Ferit Kaya, and many more.

The story of Alya Albora is far from over. After an unforgettable first season, Uzak Şehir is preparing to return to the screen with its second season, premiering on September 15.

Alya Albora expected to fulfill her husband’s final wish, when she arrived in Mardin from Canada with her deceased husband’s body and their five-year-old son. She expected to found herself trapped in Albora, but there is no return and no escape. Cihan Albora, the head of the powerful Albora tribe, stands in her way determined not to let her take her child.

Alya must confront the tribe’s secrets, the shadows of the past in season 2 and the unforgiving truths of the region. With twists and emotional depth that promise to leave audiences stunned, Her battle with her late husband’s family is set to grow even fiercer.

With Gulizar Irmak penning the script, AyNa Production brings the series to life under the direction of Ahmet Katıksız, Emre Aybek, and Yıldız Aşanboğa Taşbaşı. The series features a stellar cast led by Ozan Akbaba and Sinem Ünsal, joined by Gonca Cilasun, Müfit Kayacan, Ferit Kaya, Sahra Şaş, and many more.
